Since its inception, the Blood Bank has played a pioneering role in envisioning ideas and metamorphosing the concept of philanthropy striving to transform lives of thousands. Even after so many years, we continue to be guided by the principles of Swami Vivekananda --

We have significantly contributed to the society by adopting 65 Thalessemia patients, 4 Sickle cell and 1 Hemophilia patients whom are provided with NAT blood bags for free. Each patient requires an average of 3 bags every month, amounting to Rs. 7500/- per patient per month. Additionally, people who come towards us looking for help are given the blood bags free of cost or in discounted charges varying on their affordability. Not being just restricted to this, we also regularly provide free bags to the Govt. hospitals of the city for helping the poor patients in need. Associated with us are the Govt. Medical College, Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College, Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Govt. hospital, Bhandara and many others who regularly seek our assistance for their services. In the year 2018 the amount of Charity performed by the Blood Bank for Thalessemia project was Rs. 3035550/- while Rs. 4252900/- for the underprivileged.
